This involves a regular in-depth audits of our Health and Safety procedures and policies including our risk assessments to ensure that we meet current legislation in all areas of our cleaning operation.
Health and safety is actively managed from the top with a structure in place to reinforce the importance of safe working practices. We expect all employees to recognize and accept their individual responsibilities in promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
Our group health and safety committee meets and regularly reviews best practice polices and compliance with Canadian law. Employees of Vibraclean are supported with the provision of competent health and safety advice from our qualified, professional health and safety advisory team. This team conducts audits on systems and procedures and conducts accident investigation and reporting in accordancee with the Workplace Safety Insurance Board of Ontario. (WSIB)
Training is carried out to ensure that service delivery is provided by competent employees and typically includes:
- Extensive safety and liability audits at job start up
- Internal/external policies to ensure compliance with specifications
- Site specific training for work crews
- WHMIS training (reviewed annually)
- Detailed procedures for swift emergency response
- On-site Tool Box orientation sessions to review facility hazards
- CD-ROM based Health and Safety training
- Multilanguage tools to ensure consistency
- Environmental Safety
