Green Cleaning to Accommodate Those with Special Needs
When occupants have sensitivities to janitorial practices, changes in the frequency, technique or time when cleaning can be modified to accommodate individuals with special needs. VibraGreen accommodates populations with special needs, such as people with allergies or chemical sensitivities or pregnant women, in the following ways:- Communication of plans to occupants of a building when they may be affected by cleaning procedures.
- Change in the times that major cleaning activities are conducted, for example cleaning of carpets or stripping of floors early outside of regular work hours to maximize ventilation.
- Adjusting the time of day cleaning is done, for example clean when occupants in the building are at a minimum.
- Encouragement of continual feedback from occupants in order to make appropriate changes.
